About Joscor
Joscor is an independent cloud consulting practice, founded in 2013 and led by Joshua Cornutt – cloud architect, OpenStack contributor, and founder of Open Edge Cloud. We work with SaaS companies, enterprises, and public-sector teams on the hard parts of building and running cloud infrastructure.
What we do
Most consulting engagements are one of these shapes:
- Architecture review – a deep look at an existing platform with a written report: what’s going to break first, what to fix now, what to leave alone.
- Platform build – standing up or rebuilding OpenStack, OpenShift, or Kubernetes infrastructure for production workloads, with the automation and runbooks to keep it healthy.
- SaaS scale-up – taking an MVP or early-stage SaaS and preparing it for enterprise customers: multi-tenancy, SSO, observability, compliance posture, cost control.
- AI-native operations – integrating agentic tooling (Claude, custom MCP servers, automated incident response) into real SaaS ops so teams can ship faster without hiring more ops engineers.
- Ongoing advisory – retainer arrangements for teams that need senior architecture judgment without a full-time hire.
Open Edge Cloud
Open Edge Cloud was founded in 2024 to solve a problem we kept seeing on consulting engagements: enterprises wanted the economics and openness of OpenStack without the operational burden, and US-sovereign infrastructure without hyperscaler lock-in. Open Edge is a managed OpenStack cloud running in US datacenters – Iron Mountain VA-1, with a second region coming online in 2026 – with FIPS 140-3 validated cryptography and exportable audit trails mapped to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 control frameworks. Joscor engagements often pair with Open Edge infrastructure, but neither requires the other.
